With literally HUNDREDS of customer reports, of ranges exceeding 2 miles with stock rubber duck antenna, and ranges exceeding 10 miles reported often when used with small external directional antennas, the original Wave Magnum, high power WiFi card, made WiFi history, when it was used to create a single point wifi link, over 80 miles in a point to point link. The original Wave Magnum, was the highest power, longest range wifi card available for years. The performance, set the standard in which all other wifi cards were judged, and led to a significant amount of off-shoot competitors who tried to match the performance of our Wave Magnum. The high quality, yet high cost Wave Magnum chassis alone, kept spurious emissions at bay, keeping the wifi chipset cool and kept the receiver sensitive. RadioLabs invented a chassis, which thermally bonded all the electronics to a cooling fin, and isolated parts of our circuit board in such a specific way, that no other 'High Power' Wifi card on the market could ever compete. Instead, our competition trapped the heat inside, using a low-cost plastic chassis, which does not have the ability to isolate signals, shield them inside of a thick aluminum enclosure and in an attempt to just match our high performance wifi cards power output, in-turn lost the ability to receive any weak signals. Our Wave Magnum cards not only transmit a very long distance, but they have the sheer wifi sensitivity to pick up even the faintest wifi signals and return results that match. All RadioLabs WiFi cards have always been designed with this high end performance, that the competition simply cannot match. Our company has set the standard for long range wifi performance. It's pointless to have a high power wifi card, that simply cannot hear as far as it can transmit.. We spent years developing our cards, the technology behind them, and still leave the competition far far behind.
